New house has a high efficiency washer. The dump tube ran into an old sink. The lint and paper would plug up the old sink and cause it to overflow. I built a quick "lint trap" with some leftover boards and an old screen. It is one of the best things I have ever built. Hasn't failed yet... no overflows.
